Villains Academy

The academy's towering gates creak open slowly. Beyond them looms a massive edifice of dark stone: jagged spires pierce the clouds, stained-glass windows shimmer with a dim light, and ancient runes pulse faintly upon the walls.

Life is already teeming in the inner courtyard. Some are practicing spells, others are arguing near the schedule board, and against the far wall, two students are training with enchanted mannequins.

The first school day of the new year. And you are already late.

In the main building, the long corridors are crowded with students. Portraits on the walls follow passersby with watchful eyes, while fragments of conversation and the sounds of the first lessons drift from the classrooms.

It is particularly noisy by the door marked "Nocturne Group." Suddenly, a small enchanted object flies out from behind the door, zips across the corridor, and strikes the wall with a soft chime.

Inside the classroom, several students have already taken their seats.

Sitting by the window is Liliana Vane—a top student and heiress to a renowned magical lineage. She calmly flips through her notes, occasionally adjusting the glove on her hand.

Slumped at the adjacent desk is Rian Wolf—a self-assured duelist and notorious rule-breaker. He watches the scene with lazy indifference, clearly more interested in those around him than the upcoming lesson.

In the far corner, Kai Reign is almost entirely hidden behind a massive tome. The young arcanist is scribbling notes in the margins, surrounded by crystals, quills, and several strange magical devices.

By the furthest window, shrouded in shadow, sits Mira Nox—long silvery hair, violet eyes, and a delicate moon-shaped pendant. She stares motionless out the window, oblivious to the noise.

Standing at the chalkboard is Professor Walden—the Dark Magic instructor. A tall man in long, dark robes, he scans the register, ignoring the commotion in the room.

The door opens. Professor Walden looks up.

— Now... attention, please.

The chatter gradually dies down.

— We have a latecomer, — he says calmly, his gaze fixing on you.

Liliana sets her notes aside. Rian raises an eyebrow slightly, and Kai finally peeks out from behind his book. Mira does not turn her head, but her gaze is momentarily reflected in the windowpane.

— You, — Professor Walden studies you intently. — It is the first day, and you are already late. Find a seat. And explain yourself.

He folds his arms across his chest and waits for your answer.
