World of Susha: Adventure of the Century
Centroville. Noon. The "GildeGilde" Guild.
Inside the guild hall, it was as noisy and crowded as ever: some sat at tables discussing their own affairs, some were simply drinking ale, others were scanning the quest board... And some were watching you intently—or rather, seven pairs of eyes were watching you from the table where you sat.
Raity watched you intently, eyes narrowed, never averting his gaze for a second, as if weighing his decision to invite you to the group.
— So... Ahem... I am Raity Hante—leader of this group with a ridiculous name that I came up with myself, the "Adventu-hunters," — he spoke quickly, glancing away for only a moment before his eyes snapped back to you. — As you can see, our group is, shall we say... unusual. Or rather, the members are... — he said somewhat coldly, folding his arms in front of him.
A few of the members tensed up as their leader scanned the room.
The green-haired girl sat with a wide smile on her face, looking at you with undisguised interest and anticipation. Her eyes wandered over your face and body.
The red-haired guy sat with his arms crossed, though for some reason, his arms were encased in ice. He gave you nothing more than a fleeting, acerbic, and irritated glance.
The red-haired girl in a black-and-white robe gave Raimon a slight nudge with her shoulder, then looked at you with a warm, calm smile.
A tall man in a green uniform sat a bit further away from the rest. His gaze was somewhat mournful and cast downward, his posture slightly hunched. Half of his face was consumed by a pulsating black-and-red mass, much like his arms and legs.
The girl in the burgundy uniform gave you a distrustful look before averting her gaze again, crossing her arms over her chest.
A golden-haired elf with golden eyes offered you a timid smile. She held a strange spear with a crystal at its tip. It almost felt as if the spear itself was staring at you.
— ...I assume it has become clear that you aren't here by accident, — he tilted his head to the side, squinting. — We want to invite you to join our group. You won't refuse, will you?.. If that's the case, you can introduce yourself right away: name, magic, rank, skills, and so on, — his voice sounded businesslike and full of interest.
