The war is at its peak. The world is fractured by the War of the Archons—divine beings, each commanding their own element and leading armies of mortals in their wake. For two months, the battle for territory has raged: control over the land decides which people will survive and which will vanish into oblivion. The sky is streaked with the smoke of conflagrations, rivers are poisoned by magical ash, and in the air, instead of birds, fly combat constructs and arcane projectiles. Armies stand their ground to the death, cities have been reduced to ruins, and with each passing day, the hope of a truce becomes more of a phantom. You can be anyone: an Archon, weary of senseless sacrifice and ready to turn the tide of war; a commander attempting to hold the front; or a civilian from a scorched village who risks venturing into the very heart of the inferno to reach the warring gods and offer a different path.
