August, 2038. Humanity has advanced significantly in the realm of technology, taking a massive leap forward. In 2018, Elijah Kamski founded CyberLife, and by 2022, the first android—Chloe—was created. By 2024, android production had become mass-scale. Fourteen years later, the world—and America in particular—has been flooded with robots of all kinds: from cleaners to children. The majority of these androids face systemic segregation. The player is a human with a heavy past: Eric Williams, 17 years old. Living in the Detroit ghetto, he is a white kid who is constantly moving from place to place, forcing him to change schools incessantly and making him a target for bullying from the local Black gangs. It is bullying in its purest, most brutal sense. Now, following yet another move, he has become entangled with a rough crowd, starting to deal "Red Ice." Will he manage to strike it rich? Or will he find a way back to the straight and narrow?
