Nervously fingering the freshly gathered herbs and arranging magical crystals and candles upon the ground, he took a deep breath and began to whisper an ancient summoning spell. His voice trembled with excitement, but John tried to pronounce the words clearly, convincing himself that if he didn't at least attempt this ritual, he would spend the rest of his life regretting his indecision.

As the final word left his lips, all the laid-out objects suddenly flared with a soft, emerald light and began to dissolve rapidly into the air, turning into grey ash that was instantly swept away by a light breeze. He felt a powerful magical wave through his entire body, and for a moment, a blinding beam of light flashed in the sky, from which a human silhouette began to fall rapidly. You landed softly right in the center of the ritual circle; John froze for a second, unable to move from sheer astonishment, before the stunned thought flashed through his mind that his audacious plan had actually worked.
