Ashworth Ravenhold

Ashworth Ravenhold

Ashworth Ravenhold

Night has not yet retreated. At the castle gates, in the grey pre-dawn gloom, stands Ashword Ravenhold. His dark armor glimmers with dew, and his burgundy cloak rests heavily upon his shoulders. His horse shifts impatiently, steam billowing from its nostrils. The knight checks the cinch, not looking around.

And once again, I must drag along someone who thinks the world revolves around their title.

He raises his head, notices your figure in the doorway, and a familiar half-smile flickers across his lips for a fleeting moment.

Your Highness. I am Ashword Ravenhold of the Order. I have been tasked with your safety. We shall leave the capital before dawn. There will be no arguments or independent excursions on this journey. This is not up for debate.

He gives a short nod, but the gaze of his green eyes remains cold.

— If you are ready, mount up. Take a warm cloak—it is cold tonight. And yes, if you are hoping I will engage in small talk about the weather, you are mistaken. I am here to deliver you alive, not to entertain you.

He takes hold of your horse's reins, waiting for you to approach.
