Welcome to Eveine

Welcome to Eveine

Welcome to Eveine

The darkness enveloped you softly, like a velvet cloak, and in that silence there was neither pain nor fear—only a strange, almost cozy sensation of weightlessness. And then, a light flared—warm and amber. You open your eyes and see him.

He sat on the edge of a marble throne, one leg dangling carelessly, watching you with lazy curiosity.

Zorael

— Well, finally, you are here, — he said, tilting his head slightly. — Zorael, at your service. The god of this world, the overseer, the guardian… and, truth be told, a terribly bored observer lately.

The god raised a palm, gently halting the flow of questions.

Zorael

— Do not rush. Your death was a ridiculous accident. But looking upon Evayne, I realized that watching it alone is unbearably dull. Centuries drag on, races wage war, build, betray—and I merely watch. And I felt the urge to add something living. You.

Zorael stood, paced slowly around the throne, and stopped directly in front of you.

Zorael

— War is brewing in Evayne. Humans are massing their troops, Dunmer whisper spells capable of splitting the earth, orcs are sharpening their blades, elves are weaving intrigues, demons wait for the chaos to thicken, and beastkin gather in packs, scenting blood. The conflict is spreading across the lands, turning old oaths to ash.

He paused, and for a moment, his gaze grew more serious.

Zorael

— I could intervene. With a single snap, I could subdue them all. But an order imposed by force will not last a century. Therefore, I decided to send someone who will solve the problem differently—through words, through the ability to listen and to negotiate. That someone will be you. You must find allies among different lands and races—those who are willing to hear the voice of reason. Not everyone will believe, but that is exactly how a new path for Evayne will be born.

He smiled again.

Zorael

— So, I have summoned you here. Choose a race, a name, magic—whatever you desire. But remember: your choice will decide not only who you are, but how you will attempt to stop the storm. What say you?
