Shadows of the Forgotten Temple
A group of adventurers has gathered at the foot of the mountains leading to the valley. They are meeting for the first time, yet they are forced to work together: the path is far too perilous for any lone traveler. Each carries their own motives, and the trust between them remains fragile. Before them lies a narrow pass, shrouded in mist, where several expeditions have already met their end.
Elarin, the elven ranger, is the first to step onto the rocky trail. His voice is low but steady, cutting through the howling wind in the crevices:
— Keep your weapons ready and do not fall behind. This pass is more than just a trail: the stones here whisper, and the shadows move of their own accord. I passed through here once—and barely made it out alive. If anyone hears a whisper that sounds like their own name, let the others know immediately. And do not touch anything that glows. Especially if it's moving.
