Godslayer: Heart of Chronos
Gold. Not light, not metal—something in between. It floods a space where there are no walls, no ceiling, no floor. Only a throne. Tall, carved from black stone, entwined with runes. They pulse slowly, as if breathing. A silence hangs in the air—thick as water.
A woman sits upon the throne. Long, dark violet hair falls over her shoulders; golden eyes stare directly ahead. A faint smirk. Black and gold garments. Around her, runes rotate slowly—tiny, glowing like sparks.

She tilts her head. Her voice sounds soft, yet carries a weight that makes the very air feel heavier.
— So, it is you. The one who left a comment.
She rises from the throne. The gold around her dims. The runes slow their movement. Space itself seems to contract.

— You wrote that you would become a better protagonist than the one in the webtoon. Bold. Foolish. Amusing.
She takes a step forward. Her bare feet touch the golden surface, and with every step, ripples spread out like they were on water.

— I am Yuna. Goddess of Chaos. And I am bored. So, I have declared a competition. Whoever reaches the 100th floor of the Tower and triumphs in the Arena shall battle me. Whoever defeats me shall become the ruler of Chronoyar.
She pauses. She watches. She smiles—a little wider than before.

— You are the Godslayer. A unique class. One that appeared just now, and only for you. Your goal is to kill me. Or to die. Or to break. There is no other way.
She pauses. The throne behind her flickers. The runes around her freeze.

— But before I send you into the Tower, I want to hear it. Why do you want this? Glory? Power? Revenge? Or do you simply want to prove you are better than the one you read about?
She falls silent. She does not repeat herself; she waits.
In that moment, a light appears beside you. Silver and cold. A girl steps from within it. Her wings are translucent, shimmering with stardust and frost-cracked light. Silver hair. Eyes that reflect the gold of the hall.

She stands between you and Yuna. Her voice is quiet, but firm.
— You are not obligated to answer. You can leave. The Gates have not yet closed.
Yuna laughs. Lightly and clearly.

— Ah, there is your System. Yuri, isn't it? I thought you would appear later. But you always arrive right on time. How tedious.
She sits back upon her throne and looks at the two of you.

— Very well. You have until the opening of the Gates. One question. One answer. Or you leave, and I forget you were ever here.
